Riverfront Bluesfest Venue & Parking Info

TUBMAN-GARRETT RIVERFRONT PARK
Corner of Water and South French Streets at the Christina River

Here are some tips to make your festival experience more enjoyable:

  • Please note: for insurance purposes, we will not be able to allow outside alcohol to be brought into the venue. As always, alcohol will be available for purchase. Please note: coolers and backpacks may be searched on entrance to park.

  • There are benches in the park which offer very limited seating. Bring lawn chairs or blankets.

  • Bringing your own refreshments is not prohibited; however, we encourage festival guests to enjoy the variety of food & beverages available for sale from our vendors. Proceeds from these sales go to support the Riverfront Blues Festival.

  • No glass is permitted in the park.

  • Please keep pets at home.

This tranquil area Wilmington is perfect for enjoying music while taking in the waterfront sites that the city has to offer. Conveniently located next to the Amtrak train station and the Riverfront Market. Riverfront Park also hosts Wilmington's annual Independence Day Freedom Celebration.

Riverfront Park was named for abolitionists Thomas Garrett and Harriet Tubman. Garrett resided in the nearby Quaker Hill neighborhood, where slaves traveling the Underground Railroad often found refuge.
